Upcoming Events at Chateau du Gue aux Biches

From September 20th until September 22nd, the château opens its doors for an art exhibition featuring talented and carefully selected artists with a special connection to the place. Here, you will have the opportunity to experience a diverse collection of artworks with various themes and styles, from classical paintings to modern sculptures.

As a visitor at the art exhibition, you will have the chance to meet the artists, learn about their inspiration, and even purchase a piece of art or two.

The opening reception takes place on September 20th from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and the exhibition will be open for viewing on September 21st and 22nd from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM both days.

If you love beautiful nature and deep tranquility, you can join an enriching yoga and hiking retreat in the idyllic Andaine Forest surrounding Château du Gué aux Biches. The retreat takes place both in April as well as September. The next session begins from Wednesday, September 25th and ends Sunday, September 29th, 2024, offering four days of relaxing yoga, scenic hikes, and delicious food.

Whether you are a beginner or an experienced yogi, our yoga instructor Lise Stenbæk will guide you through the program, tailoring it to suit your level – ensuring that everyone can participate!

On December 14th and 15th, Château du Gué aux Biches invites you to a cozy Christmas event where the château will be filled with holiday spirit. As a guest, you can enjoy a variety of Danish Christmas specialties, including classic æbleskiver and warm, spiced gløgg – both necessities for a Danish Christmas.

Several times a year, Château du Gué aux Biches hosts piano concerts featuring talented pianists from near and far. The concerts showcase a diverse repertoire of classical works ranging from Bach and Beethoven to Chopin and Schubert. During the intermission, an apéritif is served, which guests can enjoy in the château's elegant halls.
